Why I Don’t Accept Insurance

(And Why That’s a Good Thing

and

Learn How YOU Can Still Use Your Insurance!)

Let’s get real: I don’t accept insurance, and here’s why. Buckle up!

~Your Therapy, Your Rules~

When it comes to your mental health, why should I let some insurance company dictate what happens in our sessions? By keeping it all between us, I can tailor my approach to fit your unique needs—not some cookie-cutter plan.

~Privacy, Please!~

Insurance companies love to snoop. They want diagnostic codes and treatment notes, turning your personal journey into their business. No thanks! I’m all about keeping our chats confidential. What we discuss stays between us—no prying eyes allowed.

~Freedom to Explore~

Without insurance breathing down my neck, I have the freedom to try out different therapies that might actually work for you. We can experiment, innovate, and go off-script. Who needs a boring, one-size-fits-all approach?

~No Hidden Fees~

Let’s cut the confusion. When you come to me, you’ll know exactly what you’re paying for—no surprise bills or tricky insurance jargon. Transparency is my jam, and I like to keep things simple.

~Quality Over Quantity~

I’m not here to pump you in and out like a factory. My focus is on delivering high-quality care that actually makes a difference. Without insurance hoops to jump through, I can spend more time on what really matters: you!

~The CEO Factor~

Let’s talk numbers: in 2022, the CEOs of major health insurance companies salaries hit upwards of $10 million—some even hitting $20 million or more! Meanwhile, many of us are left grappling with high premiums, surprise bills and fighting to get the coverage we’ve already paid for. I’m not interested in being part of a system that prioritizes lining CEO’s pockets over your care. (You can read more here.)

So there you have it! Not accepting insurance means we can focus on what’s truly important—your growth and well-being. Got questions? Shoot me a message! I’m here to help!

Ok, so I don’t accept insurance, how can you still use your benefits?

Great question! I believe that if you’re paying for health insurance, than you should be able to utilizie and take advantage of any coverage you’re paying for.
